Scuba diving and snorkeling in Jamaica

by Shannon Boone - Helium: "There are many, many options to go diving and snorkeling in the Caribbean, and although there are people who go to Jamaica to enjoy scuba diving and snorkeling on the island, it is not a very popular dive destination. However, just because Jamaica does not bring in as many scuba divers and snorkelers as some other Caribbean islands, there are still a few very special places of interest that visitors flock to every year.

Forbes   I recently spent a week in  Turks and Caicos , my first time out of the country since the pandemic hit. Like many Caribbean countries, Turks and Caicos rely  almost entirely on tourism  to power their economy, so they’re desperate for travelers to return. I’m happy to report that these beautiful beaches felt like an escape from the despair of this global pandemic, and here’s how they are keeping travelers safe.
