Ladera is St. Lucia's romantic getaway

I know she, too, sought the solitude of Ladera, a luxury boutique resort with a stunning movie-set view of St. Lucia's iconic twin Pitons, rising straight from the Caribbean Sea 330 metres below.

Either Kevin Sinnett, the resort's new general manager, doesn't know or won't say which room she occupied.

Following her visit, the talk show queen plugged the destination on her show, naming the Pitons--a United Nations World Heritage Site--No. 1 on her list of the five best places to visit."
