Spirit Airlines expands in Caribbean

MiamiHerald.com: "Spirit Airlines said it is further expanding its Caribbean route network with new service between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Santiago, Dominican Republic.

Beginning June 18, Spirit will offer four weekly flights to Santiago, D.R., from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood. The new flights will complement Miramar-based Spirit's current service to Santo Domingo and seasonal service to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic."
