Caribbean Holidays 'Appeal to Sun-Worshipping Brits': "Caribbean holidays are gaining popularity with Brits looking for a slice of adventure with their sun-soaked breaks.

According to www.holidays-direct.co.uk, the Caribbean Islands of Barbados and St Lucia are becoming more popular with Brits as the UK's summer sun (or lack of it) fails to persuade them to stay on home soil this season.

Jon Pearce of the holiday firm explained: 'We've seen an uptake in bookings for holidays in The Caribbean and Thailand, along with other long haul destinations"
