Don't let hurricane season keep you out of Caribbean

Laurel Leader: "I was talking recently with some friends, with whom I've traveled over the years, about taking a long weekend trip to the Caribbean. They all seemed excited until I suggested we go this month. Their enthusiasm vanished due to what I call the 'H' factor -- the hurricane season, which runs from June until November."
